Welcome to Gem Gatherer. This game is in support of GamesPlusJames, Game Development Month, April 2023. The theme of the GameJam is 'Gathering.'

In this game you are a miner entering the deepest part of a cavern. On your journey attempt to 'Gather' as many gems and rocks as you can, while avoiding danger!

Note: If you experience any mouse lag due to itch.io servers, I have included a separate Windows/Mac/Linux downloadable that you can run locally.

I really like this concept! There are several points of challenge and interesting mechanics. I failed the first time because I didn't understand the orb signs on the first run, but then I got this score.

Thanks for playing...the feedback on the orbs being a little 'unintuitive' seems to be a common complaint. If, I ever go back to enhancing this game (although, I doubt it as just made for this jam) I will re-think it.
